Recently ICTInnovations has released the ICTFax Service Provider Version 6.0. The ICTFax SP Edition is an Email to Fax, Fax to Email, and Web to Fax software . It also supports Extensions/ATA, REST APIs, T.38, G.711 pass-through, and PSTN faxing. The ICTFax SP Edition is built on the open-source Freeswitch, ICTCore, and Angular Framework.

1. PHP and MariaDB Updated with 8.3 and 10.11.9:

2. MFA and Reset Password:

Admins have the flexibility to assign MFA permissions to individual tenants or companies, empowering users to log into their web panels using their preferred MFA methods.

• ICTFax supports the MFA through three known methods. Following are the types of MFA methods that ICTFax supports.

• Email code verification

• SMS code verification

• Google Authentication app

Tenants and users can reset their passwords if forgotten or change them for security reasons.

3. Enhanced Activity Monitoring:

ICTFax SP Edition Version 6.0 features enhanced activity logs monitoring capabilities, providing admins and tenants with granular visibility into user actions. Track what actions are taken and when, with detailed fax logs that include information such as fax type, date, sender and receiver details, and final transmission status.

Admin and tenant can see and monitor the system activities. All users activities are monitored in this single module. In system a activities admin and tenant can see and monitor the following activities such as User ID, User name, activity that user performed such as (login/logout/create fax or others), server IP and date/time as shown in below image.

4. Strong Password Policies:

ICTFax SP Edition Version 6.0 now features password security with strong password policies and failed login attempts management. Administrators can now configure password policies to meet their specific requirements, including minimum length, uppercase, lowercase, and special character usage. When creating or changing passwords, users will be guided by clear visual indicators to ensure compliance with the defined policies.

Administrators can configure a password history setting, preventing users from reusing recent passwords. If a new password matches any previous ones within the specified history, an error message will prompt the user to choose a different password.

Administrators can define password expiration periods, ensuring that passwords are regularly updated. For example, if set to 80 days, users will be automatically logged out after this period and prompted with a message indicating that their password has expired.

Additionally, admins can enforce limits on failed login attempts. If a user exceeds this limit, their account will be locked, and they will see the message: "You have made multiple failed attempts. Your account is locked. Please contact the admin."

5. Session Management Enhancement:

ICTFax SP Edition Version 6.0 now features session management capabilities, further strengthening security. Administrators can configure a global session timeout, ensuring that user sessions are automatically terminated after a specified period of inactivity. When a user logs in, a popup will appear after the configured timeout, prompting them to either stay logged in or allow automatic logout.

Admin and tenant can destroy the session of users. When admin click session destroy icon of any user then user will automatically logged out. Admin and tenant can monitor the status of users. When user will login his status will showing as login and when user will log out then his status will updated to log out.

6. Print2fax Application:

ICTFax SP Edition Version 6.0 features print2fax application. With the new Print2Fax application, users can now instantly send documents as faxes directly from their desktop, eliminating the need for manual uploads and additional fax machine or printers and streamlining the faxing process with a single click.

ICTFax Community Edition Version 6.0 now features a valuable Caller ID management feature, empowering administrators to create and assign multiple caller IDs to individual users. 5. Contact DNC:

ICTFax Community Edition Version 6.0 introduces a Contact DNC feature, allowing admins to add contacts to a global DNC list, preventing faxes from being sent to those contacts for DNC reasons.

6. Fax Activity Report:

ICTFax Community Edition Version 6.0 now includes a comprehensive fax report feature, providing both admins and users with valuable insights into their fax communication activities. Monitor outbound and inbound fax activity and logs with detailed reports that include information such as fax type, date, sender and receiver details, and final transmission status.
